WSUD in the town centre – a municipal Do-It-Yourself project
When the Galaksen cultural centre where flooded with rainwater twice, Furesø Municipality established a WSUD system for management of rainwater from a large copper roof and other areas. The municipality used advisors for the concept and outline project phase but executed the project itself. This has kept costs down and given the municipality specific experience of WSUD.
