Infiltration of rainwater, Tankefuld Svendborg

Tankefuld Svendborg is a project implemented by Svendborg Municipality.

As part of the Tankefuld project, Fyns Almennyttige Boligselskab has established a new residential area involving multi-storey buildings with a high climate profile.

There are surfaces between the buildings which are not surfaced with asphalt, constructed using TTE reinforcement filled with washed gravel/rock dust which permits infiltration from the horizontal surfaces.

All rainwater from roofs is fed via open trenches to rain gardens for infiltration.

The permeable surfaces cover approx. 1,600 m2.

You can find out more details about the project on the Svendborg Municipality website, see here (in Danish).
