Gladsaxe Sports Centre – handeling and attenuation of rainwater

In Gladsaxe Sportscentre  rainwater is separated from wastewater. From buildings and paved areas rainwater is collected in low playing ponds and canals, where it is delayed and infiltrated. This brings the area new recreational opportunities. From there, the water runs to a rainwater scenery along the Aqueduct path [link to the article on the aqueduct path]. The project has received financial support from the Water Plus (Nature Agency, Realdania and Local & Engineering Foundation)
