LAR in Rudersdal Municipality
Rudersdal Municipality do a lot to disconnect rainwater from the sewer system. In the following 8 projects is shown, where rainwater is decoupled and percolated.
Gæslingehaven, Trørød: Gæslingehaven is a new subdivision with 12 homes and a private common road. All rainwater is handled in the gardens or at the road that is constructed with a permeable paving . Stiholmvej, Birkerød: Stiholmvej was to be reconstructed. In connection with the reconstruction all rainwater was decoupled from the sewer system. The road was constructed with a permeable paving and a soakaway below. The rainwater thatdoes not infiltrate through the permeable paving is led to road rain gardens and gutters, and then to the soakaway. Read more here (in danish): LAR Stiholmsvej (258 KB)
Holmbjerg and Viekær, Trørød: The municipality needed to slow excessive rain, and calculations showed that a larger WSUD systems could meet the requirement. Lendemosevej, Holte: the elderly center needed a larger parking area. All the rainwater from the new parking area is infiltrated through a permeable paving to an underlying soakaway with overflow into the sewer system. Read more here (in danish): LAR Lendemosevej Lions Park (458 KB)
