Rainwater from the road is infiltration through the pavement and down into the ground. Helenevej was chosen as a pilot project, because the surrounding houses were flooded during the heavy rainfall in June 2011. The road was to be repaired and the residents were very interested in the pilot project. Furthermoreit is was a very small road and therefor suitable for a pilot project.
