Combination of elements allows flexible adaptation to climate change in Glostrup

The vision of implementing the project 'Green Sewer’ was to prevent flooding of basements and provide an environmental contribution to the community and the municipality.
The project includes a combination of different WSUD-elements: basins, channels, delays, evaporation and infiltration, established both in the backyard and on the roadside of the Buildings.
The project brings Glostrup Vestergård a flexible and robust climate change adaptation, while the open space appear more green and gets a greater biodiversity and new opportunities for recreational experiences for the benefit of the residents.
