Porskjærvej, Galten, cloudburst road

In Galten near Skanderborg there were major capacity problems in the sewer system.
Porskjærvej has therefore been transformed into a cloudburst road, climate road, where the rainwater from the road flows through the permeable asphalt, is stored in in the NCC drainage stabilizer under the road and then led to the sewer system. This means that the road  is used as a rainwater magazine. The road construction is therefore made extra thick approx. 120 cm of NCC drainage stabilizer, and the road is surrounded by a clay membrane.
