Green usage and drainage of rainwater

A rainwater garden/rain garden is a hollow in the ground which is created in order to catch and infiltrate rainwater which flows down from surrounding roofs and linings. The hollow can either be sown with grass which is cut at the same time as the rest of the vegetation, or else it can be made into a special garden in which ornamental grasses, flowers, shrubs and trees create a varied and luxuriant environment.
